Researchers work as part of a team comprising modellers, analysts, programmers and support staff. The modellers, most of whom have PhDs, are responsible for developing and extending the models appropriate to their sport. The analysts, who are experts in their chosen sport, use these models to predict match scores and provide feedback to help further development.Thus, teamwork is an essential component of the work ethos at ATASS. As a company that relies on close working relationships between team members, ATASS also recognises the importance of social interaction outside of office hours and encourages its entire staff to participate in its lively social programme.
